Marianna’s accomplished career includes engineering leadership roles at Ariba, General Magic, VMWare and Docker. A former engineer and a captain in the Israeli Army, Tessel has proven leadership experience at both large companies as well as startups. She was the executive vice president of Strategic Development at Docker, developing strategic partnerships and scaling Docker's technology ecosystem. Prior to that, Marianna built and led the engineering organization at Docker, expanding its open source platform and developing its commercial product offering. Before joining Docker, she was vice president of engineering at VMware, where she led an engineering team developing various VMware vSphere subsystems.
