Seasoned global sales and business development leader with 19 years accomplished track record of building businesses and driving expansion into new markets in India and US, setting up and scaling sales teams, establishing complex multi-million dollar strategic partnerships and incubating C-level relationships for some of the world’s foremost internet & media brands such as Amazon, Google, CBS, CNET and CNBC.  
Part of the initial seed team that launched Junglee.com and Amazon.in in India. Led the launch of lifestyle and consumable categories - was responsible for leading a cross functional team and overall planning, strategy and execution related to seller recruitment and success on the platform. Subsequently, incubated Amazon’s Global Selling business with the responsibility of setting up and scaling an organization of industry-leading sales, marketing and product professionals focused on helping businesses understand and embrace the power of global e-commerce through the AGS portfolio of services. In addition, led the Partnerships team for Amazon’s marketplace business responsible for large impact strategic partnerships to grow the marketplace business in India.
Prior to Amazon, led Google’s North America Channel Sales team responsible for new business, partnerships and thought leadership towards driving the company’s local advertiser acquisition efforts. Earlier part of the digital revolution in India leading ad sales teams for CNBC, Havas Worldwide and MSN India. Drove exponential sales growth in new media digital channels through innovative consultative selling to large ad agencies and advertisers.
A strong advocate of building an inspirational culture and nurturing teams to most and best out of people and then rolling up my sleeves to help them succeed; effectively collaborating and driving teams across multiple groups to deliver results.
