My focus is on helping companies to grow by "applying technology innovations that drive tangible business value", by leveraging my more than 35 years of global experience with US and Indian companies in the areas of business consulting, technology licensing and alliances, fund-raising, software research and development, and operations. My recent stint of over 14 years with world’s premier industrial research Lab, IBM Research has further strengthened my skills, that include:

- Identifying, assessing and deploying advanced technology from idea to business
- Driving innovation and research programs to address unique cross-industry business problems
- Making investment decisions on new technologies
- Maximizing revenues, optimizing costs and enhancing profitability
- Aligning business development strategy, technology roadmaps, alliances and equity investment plans
- Leveraging collaborative business models to take innovations to market, through enterprises, startups and government agencies in India and globally

Till June 2017, I was the Country Leader & Program Director, IBM Research Business Development based at IBM Research – India. Responsible for business development of new research technologies and innovation projects in selected areas of machine learning, big data, blockchain, IoT, mobile and cloud for clients in IBM Growth Markets. Also engaged in large IT deals in sectors related to finance, telecom, government and e-commerce, and injected innovation capabilities in strategic client engagements with an objective to add differentiating business value. In these roles, I have been involved with strategic deals and research collaborations that contributed to IBM signing multi-million dollars deals, with some lasting multiple years.

Currently, a Charter Member of TiE and a member of Indian Angel Network, I have done MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, a B.Tech degree from IIT-Kanpur and Executive Leadership program with Cornell University.
